Head of Human Resources

About the role

We are looking for a senior HR leader to head the group‑wide Human Resources function for a diversified real‑estate and construction group operating across the UAE. Reporting directly to the Executive Leadership team, the role will shape and execute a people strategy that supports the company’s ambitious growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an HR strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, organisational effectiveness and people matters.
• Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning to attract and retain high‑calibre talent.
• Oversee performance management, succession planning, employee development and career progression.
• Design and drive employee engagement initiatives that boost productivity, retention and culture.
• Manage compensation and benefits frameworks to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, visa processing and employee documentation.
• Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, grievance and disciplinary processes.
• Enhance HR systems, reporting, governance and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop the HR team, setting clear standards of accountability and service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; master’s degree or recognised HR qualification preferred.
• Proven experience leading a group‑wide HR function in the UAE, preferably within engineering, construction, real‑estate or similarly complex environments.
• Deep knowledge of UAE Labour Law and current HR best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategies that deliver measurable business results.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• High integrity, professionalism and sound decision‑making.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HR information systems and workforce analytics tools.
