Head of Human Resources Operations

About the role

Our confidential client is seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead and continuously develop the HR function within a highly confidential, service‑oriented environment. The role holds end‑to‑end accountability for the employee lifecycle, from workforce planning to off‑boarding, and acts as a trusted adviser to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Translate organisational requirements into practical people plans, advise on structure, role design and workforce risks.
• Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contract administration, visa and benefits coordination.
• Maintain and improve HR policies, handbooks, SOPs and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
• Lead talent acquisition, manage selection processes, external recruitment partnerships and deliver a high‑quality onboarding experience.
• Develop salary structures, benefits, oversee payroll inputs and annual salary review processes.
• Manage performance management cycles, succession planning and learning & development interventions.
• Provide HR advisory on employee relations matters, handling grievances, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Produce workforce reporting, identify people risks and maintain audit trails for sensitive data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology or related field; recognised professional HR qualification.
• 10+ years progressive HR experience with broad generalist remit and strong HR operations background.
• Proven experience advising senior leaders and handling complex, confidential employee matters.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and high level of discretion.
