Head of International Business Development MEA

About the role

Zenith is seeking a senior executive to lead its International Business Development for the Middle East and Africa (excluding GCC). Reporting to the Group CEO, the role will build a green‑field presence, engage ministries and security agencies, and drive multimillion‑dollar contracts in emerging markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a go‑to‑market strategy for MEA (ex‑GCC), prioritising markets by opportunity size and procurement maturity.
• Lead high‑level engagements with ministries of interior, law‑enforcement and homeland‑security agencies across target regions.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle: pipeline development, bid preparation, negotiation and closure of complex government contracts.
• Establish and nurture channel, agent and system‑integrator relationships where direct presence is not yet justified.
• Provide regular pipeline and market‑intelligence reports to the Group CEO.

Required profile

• 10+ years of senior sales leadership in homeland security, security technology or defence sectors.
• Proven track record selling to government and institutional buyers in MEA markets outside the GCC.
• Experience structuring and closing multimillion‑dollar contracts in emerging or non‑GCC markets.
• Strong professional network across security, defence and law‑enforcement communities in the region.
• Master’s degree in Business or Engineering; MBA preferred.
