Head of Learning & Development – Real Estate

About the role

Al Futtaim Real Estate is looking for a Head of Learning & Development to build a true learning organisation and strengthen capabilities across the real‑estate division. The role will align learning initiatives with Group priorities, linking development to performance, talent, succession and career growth. You will influence senior leaders and create meaningful development pathways across varied professions and markets.

Key responsibilities

• Set the learning strategy and build a multi‑year roadmap that supports business priorities and embeds continuous learning.
• Lead Group and divisional programmes in AI, management, leadership and soft‑skill development.
• Create targeted national talent programmes to accelerate capability, readiness, retention and career progression.
• Develop practical learning for Asset Development, Asset Management, Construction and Engineering.
• Link development plans to talent reviews, succession, high‑potential programmes, internal mobility and career pathways.
• Partner with professional bodies and internal experts to establish accredited programmes for priority real‑estate roles.
• Manage the L&D team, budget, platforms, vendors and governance, using data to improve participation and business outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business, Psychology or related field; master’s or professional certification preferred.
• 12+ years’ experience in learning, organisational capability or talent development, including at least five years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven success leading enterprise learning strategies in a complex, multi‑business environment, preferably in real‑estate, construction or engineering.
• Experience in leadership development, national talent programmes, career development, succession‑linked learning or technical academies.

Required skills

• Strong strategic, commercial and digital learning capability, including learning technologies, analytics and responsible use of AI.
• Excellent stakeholder influence, team leadership, programme governance, communication and facilitation skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic is advantageous.
