Head of Line Maintenance Operations

About the role

Lead the line maintenance and logistics support for aircraft equipped with Thales In‑Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems across airlines under service agreements. You will coordinate resources, ensure contractual compliance, and drive continuous improvement of processes and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Implement actions and deploy human and industrial resources to meet line‑maintenance and logistics requirements.
• Lead a team of 85 staff (including 8 managers) and manage a budget of USD 11.6 million for 2026.
• Coordinate with Program Support, Logistics Support, Support Resources, Operations, and external Repair Stations.
• Monitor service performance through KPIs such as seat availability, inventory levels, and deferred maintenance actions.

Required profile

• 7+ years experience in cabin/IFE or avionics maintenance within an airline, MRO or similar aerospace environment.
• Proven multicultural team management and customer relationship management in complex settings.
• Strong knowledge of civil aviation maintenance regulations and local labor laws.
• Master’s degree in Electronics, Aeronautics or Maintenance Engineering and fluent English.

Required skills

• EASA Part‑145 A1 approval compliance.
• Proficiency with MS Office, ERP systems and databases.
• Analytical reporting, KPI management, quality, HSE and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
