Head of Logistics Operations

About the role

The Head of Logistics Operations will lead the planning, coordination and execution of all logistics activities for Automotive Management Services in Dubai. This senior role oversees purchasing, warehousing, distribution, forecasting and customer service, ensuring efficient and cost‑effective supply chain performance.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
• Direct, optimise and coordinate the full order cycle.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
• Monitor quality, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and overall efficiency.
• Arrange warehouse layout, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments.
• Resolve problems or complaints arising in the supply chain.
• Supervise, coach and train the warehouse workforce.
• Achieve cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
• Maintain performance metrics, analyse data and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and ISO standards.
• Develop and monitor supply‑chain performance measurement systems.
• Create policies and procedures for logistics activities.
• Plan and implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.
• Participate in carrier selection, qualification and performance evaluation.

Required profile

• Relevant degree, diploma or certificate in logistics, supply chain, procurement or related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in logistics management.
• Strong project management and financial acumen.
• Knowledge of channel distribution and vendor‑specific products.
• Proven managerial and supply‑chain management skills.
