Head of Manufacturing

About the role

The Head of Manufacturing will oversee all manufacturing, engineering, maintenance and plant operations across multiple production sites for a leading plastic packaging manufacturer serving FMCG and pharmaceutical markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate manufacturing, engineering, maintenance and plant operations across several sites.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Six Sigma initiatives to improve OEE, reduce waste and standardise processes.
• Implement SAP manufacturing digitisation, automation projects and capacity‑expansion programmes.
• Manage the full operational P&L, ensure compliance and support business growth.
• Build and develop high‑performance teams and foster a culture of operational excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years in senior manufacturing roles with total experience of 15+ years.
• Proven leadership in rigid plastic packaging manufacturing across multiple sites.
• Experience with ISBM, two‑stage, EBM and injection moulding processes.
• Strong background in Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, OEE improvement and SAP digitisation.
