Head of Marketing – E-Commerce & Consumer Brands

About the role

RIG Recruitment is working with an established, growing international e-commerce and consumer retail group to appoint an experienced Head of Marketing. You will take full ownership of the strategy, brand positioning and growth of three established consumer brands operating in the Irish market, working remotely from Dubai. The role is freelance, with quarterly travel to Ireland for key business activities, media engagements and events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies across three consumer brands targeting different market segments.
• Drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, revenue growth and market positioning.
• Lead brand development, creative campaigns, PR, influencer partnerships and strategic collaborations.
• Build relationships with Irish media, journalists, influencers and commercial partners.
• Oversee SEO, paid advertising and digital marketing specialists, and identify opportunities for product development, customer experience and brand repositioning.
• Manage marketing budgets, campaign performance and resource allocation.
• Work with senior leadership and lead a lean, specialist marketing function while staying involved in campaign execution.

Required profile

• Senior marketing leadership experience, ideally in e-commerce, retail or consumer brands.
• Experience developing brand and commercial growth strategies and managing multiple brands or product categories.
• Excellent knowledge of the Irish consumer market, including local media, PR and influencer networks.
• Experience managing external agencies, specialist marketing teams and budgets.
• Valid UAE residency and eligibility to work on a freelance basis; initial engagement is freelance, reviewed after probation.
