Head of Operational Performance

About the role

As Head of Operational Performance you will partner with the VP Cargo to drive safety, quality and productivity across dnata Cargo’s global network. Based in Dubai, the role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on project delivery and requires frequent travel to our overseas locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the rollout of OneDnata initiatives such as World Class Operational Performance, Operational Best Practices (OBP) and Business Resource Planning (BRP).
• Identify, monitor and resolve service‑quality shortfalls or adverse KPI trends across all dnata cargo sites.
• Facilitate a cargo forum to share best practices, innovation and industry issues.
• Implement governance and processes in procurement, resource management and supply‑chain to improve customer service while controlling cost.
• Support investigations of major incidents as an Operations Subject Matter Expert.
• Ensure robust KPI monitoring and reporting using smart metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational performance, process optimisation or similar senior role within aviation, logistics or related sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly and work from the Dubai office.
