Head of Recreation - Emiratization

About the role

Lead the overall operations of recreation, leisure and sports facilities for a premier hospitality organization in the UAE, ensuring exceptional member experiences and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct operations across multiple venues, including courts, coaching academies, tournaments and events.
• Drive revenue through memberships, bookings, corporate partnerships, sponsorships and strategic marketing.
• Manage budgets, profitability and business expansion while maintaining premium service standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, third‑party operators and commercial partners to achieve operational and financial targets.

Required profile

• UAE national with a valid Family Book, applying under the Emiratization programme.
• Significant management experience in recreation, leisure, sports, fitness, premium hospitality or private members’ clubs, preferably overseeing multiple facilities.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, revenue targets, profitability and customer retention.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of hospitality or leisure operations.
