Head of Regulatory Affairs

About the role

We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Head of Regulatory Affairs to lead our regulatory compliance across the UAE and the broader MENA region. This senior leadership position will guide the company through complex regulatory frameworks, ensuring safety, efficacy, and successful product approvals throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute robust regulatory strategies to accelerate approvals of new products, line extensions, and variations.
• Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Legal teams to integrate regulatory milestones into product lifecycles.
• Monitor regional regulatory changes, assess business impact, and provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Lead regulatory inspections and audits, coordinating responses and corrective actions.
• Serve as primary liaison with the Ministry of Health and other regional regulatory agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (mandatory).
• 10–15 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs.
• Solid track record in Public Affairs and Regulatory Affairs within the UAE; experience in the broader MENA region is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to design unique strategies in complex regulatory environments.
