Head of Sales – Automotive (Dubai)

About the role

Al‑Futtaim Automotive is seeking a senior sales leader to define and execute its commercial strategy across new‑vehicle, fleet, corporate, government and pre‑owned channels in the UAE. Reporting to the executive team, the Head of Sales will partner with OEMs and key stakeholders to drive revenue, profitability and market share while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that delivers sustainable growth, profitability and market‑share targets across all channels.
• Own P&L performance for New Vehicle, Fleet/B2B and Pre‑Owned businesses, overseeing governance, forecasting and corrective actions.
• Provide strategic oversight for Retail, Fleet, Corporate, Government, SME and Pre‑Owned operations, aligning sales priorities and business plans.
• Act as the primary executive liaison with OEM partners, influencing decisions through market intelligence and commercial insights.
• Champion customer‑centric initiatives that enhance brand reputation, loyalty and satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive automotive sales leadership experience, including multi‑channel operations.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale commercial operations with full P&L responsibility.
• Experience working directly with automotive OEMs and dealer networks, preferably in GCC markets.
