Head of SMB MENAT/SSA – EMEA SMB

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking an exceptional leader to drive the Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment across MENAT and SSA. The role will lead a high‑performing team of sellers to accelerate cloud adoption among SMB customers in one of AWS’s most strategic markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SMB growth strategies, driving revenue and customer acquisition through data‑driven decisions and innovative go‑to‑market approaches.
• Build and scale a partner‑led SMB business model, establishing strategic relationships with ISVs, SIs and resellers to expand market reach.
• Champion customer obsession by driving adoption of AWS services, especially GenAI, data analytics and migration solutions, and implementing scalable engagement models.
• Recruit, develop and retain top talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning, experimentation and innovation.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Product, Solutions Architecture and regional leadership to optimise customer outcomes and align segment priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, technology, engineering, math, business or related field (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a people‑management role, leading teams and growing organisations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, able to engage technical, business and executive audiences.
• Experience in technology‑related business development, sales strategy, operations or related sales functions.
• Preferred: Master’s degree or MBA and 5+ years of business development, account management or product management experience.
