Head Waiter, Specialty Barista & All‑Rounder

About the role

Celvier Patisserie, an artisanal luxury pâtisserie and specialty coffee concept on Saadiyat Island, is assembling its pre‑opening front‑of‑house team. The role combines fine‑dining waiting, specialty coffee preparation and gelato service, supporting a 26‑seat salon and artisanal gelato vitrine.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver elegant tableside service, guide guests through pâtisserie, desserts, breakfast and tea pairings, and maintain immaculate room standards.
• Assist the Head Barista with grinder calibration, espresso extraction, and manual pour‑over ceremonies (V60, Chemex) using single‑origin beans.
• Operate the POS terminal, handle cash and takeaway packaging, and support floor and bar operations during peak periods.
• Host the gelato vitrine, conduct flavor tastings, and portion servings.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in luxury hospitality, fine‑dining, 5‑star hotel lounges or high‑end specialty coffee venues.
• Fluent verbal English with a polished, professional demeanor; additional languages a plus.
• Immaculate personal grooming, poise and ability to work under service pressure.
• Currently residing in the UAE on a transferable, visit or grace‑period visa with immediate availability.
