Health and Safety Officer (Own Visa) - Dubai/Ajman

About the role

Tafaseel BPO is hiring a Health and Safety Officer for a 3-month contract in Ajman, with the option of working in Dubai; the office location can be discussed. The contract is renewable based on performance and business needs, and the candidate must hold their own visa.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain health and safety programs in line with regulations.
• Carry out regular risk assessments, inspections and audits to find hazards and propose corrective actions.
• Work with teams to deliver safety training and orientation for new employees.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, analyse root causes and suggest prevention measures.
• Keep accurate records and prepare reports for management.
• Advise employees and managers on safe work practices and promote best practices.
• Take part in incident response and emergency drills, and support compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science or a related field.
• 2-3 years of proven experience as a Health and Safety Officer in the service sector.
• Experience with ISO and other audits.
• NEBOSH certificate expected.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, proactive and able to work independently or in a team.
