Health and Wellness Advisor

About the role

Target Engineering, an EPC and industrial infrastructure company with 50+ years of experience, is looking for a Health and Wellness Advisor. The role promotes employee wellbeing across project sites, labor accommodations and corporate offices, leading health promotion initiatives, wellness programs, awareness campaigns and worker welfare activities that support health, productivity, engagement and ESG objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor health and wellness programs across project sites and accommodation facilities, covering nutrition, fitness, stress management, chronic disease prevention, smoking cessation and healthy living
• Coordinate annual health screenings, vaccinations and preventive healthcare campaigns
• Provide guidance, one-on-one wellness coaching and referrals to healthcare professionals for employees facing work-related stress, while keeping health information confidential
• Support worker welfare programs, take part in welfare inspections and assessments, and help meet ESG and worker welfare standards
• Deliver toolbox talks, wellness workshops and awareness sessions, and create educational materials and campaigns
• Maintain records of wellness activities, prepare monthly and annual wellness reports, analyze program effectiveness and report trends to management

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in occupational health, public health, employee wellbeing, worker welfare or wellness program management
• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Occupational Health, Health Promotion, Nutrition, Psychology, Sports Science or a related field
• Certified Health Coach, Mental Health First Aid, NEBOSH or IOSH certification preferred
• Experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, construction or infrastructure projects preferred; experience with multicultural workforces advantageous

Required skills

• Knowledge of occupational health, worker welfare and wellbeing standards
• Understanding of ESG and worker welfare requirements in EPC project environments
• Health promotion and behavior change expertise
• Strong communication, counseling, planning, reporting and analytical skills
