Health, Safety, Environment & Security Officer

About the role

The HSSEQ Officer at RSA Cold Chain ensures compliance with health, safety, security, environmental and quality regulations, minimizes risks, and promotes a safe and efficient working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor occupational health & safety policies, conduct risk assessments, JSA and hazard identification.
• Support site security procedures, monitor security risks and coordinate with security teams and external agencies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, monitor waste, emissions and implement sustainability initiatives.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, prepare root‑cause analysis reports and track corrective actions.
• Conduct HSSEQ inductions, training sessions and awareness campaigns for staff.
• Maintain accurate HSSEQ records, prepare monthly performance reports and ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements.
• Develop emergency response plans, conduct fire and evacuation drills and coordinate with emergency services.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors and certification agencies to ensure ongoing compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• NEBOSH General Certificate and Train‑the‑Trainer qualification.
• 5‑7 years of HSSEQ supervisory experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• UAE light‑vehicle driving licence.
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
