About the role
Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is recruiting one Healthcare Assistant (Emirati talent). The post supports clinical licensed staff in delivering patient care within regulator guidelines and in line with quality and patient safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide fundamental patient care under the guidance of licensed personnel
- Maintain and supervise central sterile supply items in the ward
- Uphold and advocate for patient rights
- Take part in intentional rounds
- Provide general administrative services to the unit to ensure effective daily operations
- Contribute to training and education
Required profile
- Diploma as Health Care Assistant or equivalent
- Inpatient hospital or OPD experience as Health Care Assistant
- UAE experience is beneficial
- Preference will be given to designated groups under the UAE Emiratization program
Required skills
- Advanced computer literacy and functional numerical literacy
- Basic knowledge of CSSD functions
- Manual handling and ergonomic principles
- Client service orientation and communication and interpersonal skills
