About the role
The Healthcare Assistant at Metabolic supports the clinic’s daily operations by handling patient interactions, scheduling, and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments, including follow‑ups and rescheduling.
- Address patient inquiries in person, by phone, or email, providing accurate information.
- Assist physicians and staff with document preparation, reports, and clinic correspondence.
- Coordinate with laboratory, pharmacy, and imaging departments to streamline patient services.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in healthcare administration, medical assisting, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar healthcare administrative role.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinic workflows.
Required skills
- Experience with EMR/EHR software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
