Healthcare Liaison Officer (HLO)

About the role

The Healthcare Liaison Officer (HLO) supports Bareen International Hospital by coordinating communication and emergency response across the health‑care facilities within the group. The role ensures timely information flow, resource monitoring and compliance with HR and operational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to HR standards, facility policies and SOPs.
• Answer incoming calls professionally and meet UMOC KPI timeframes.
• Update and maintain contact details for all Health Care Facilities (HCFs).
• Coordinate with HCF Emergency Management Programs for preparedness, response, recovery and business continuity.
• Communicate with UMOC teams during normal operations, major incidents, mass casualty incidents and planned mass gatherings.
• Monitor facility resources, obtain up‑to‑date critical resource information and provide real‑time surge capacity data.
• Activate and notify relevant facilities and emergency services as directed by UMOC.
• Verify availability of Special Pathway Programs (SPP) such as STEMI, Burns, Stroke and compile periodic reports for the DOH.
• Prepare and maintain documentation on emergency preparedness and response activities.
• Escalate incidents through the proper chain of command and support senior DOH management requests.
• Work shifts—including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays—while maintaining confidentiality and asset integrity.
