Heart of House Specialist (Stewarding)

About the role

As a Heart of House Specialist (Stewarding) at Aloft Abu Dhabi, you will be part of the hotel’s back‑of‑house team, ensuring that all linen, dishware and cleaning equipment are ready for service. You will work across the kitchen, food‑and‑beverage and laundry areas, supporting smooth operations for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, transport and store clean linen and dishware throughout the property.
• Operate and maintain dish washing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
• Perform routine cleaning of kitchen and service areas using appropriate equipment.
• Follow health, safety and quality standards, reporting any hazards or incidents.
• Assist other departments with occasional cleaning tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, carry and move items up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Willingness to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional appearance.
• Basic literacy to follow written instructions and safety signage.

Required skills

• Use of linen washers and dryers.
• Operation of dish washing machines and hand wash stations.
• Handling of cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
