Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) Electrician

About the role

An automotive employer is hiring experienced auto electricians to work on commercial buses, diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic systems, carrying out preventive maintenance and ensuring compliance with international safety and quality standards. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Cyprus; the walk-in interview takes place in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults in commercial buses
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing and repair of vehicle electrical systems
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults accurately
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and circuit diagrams
• Carry out specialized work on vehicle AC systems (preferred)
• Ensure all work complies with ISO standards and government safety regulations
• Maintain proper documentation and service records

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering; master's degree preferred
• ITI or equivalent vocational training with relevant experience will be considered
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on workshop experience
• Proven experience with heavy vehicles such as buses and trucks
• Mandatory experience with Euro 6 engine systems
• English at B2 level or above; knowledge of Greek or Spanish is an added advantage
• Candidates must currently be based in Dubai

• Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools and electronic fault analysis
• Preferred: experience abroad and work on vehicle AC systems
