Heavy Duty Driver

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Heavy Duty Driver to operate large vehicles, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain high standards of safety and customer service across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the vehicle in proper condition and report any issues immediately to the supervisor and workshop team.
• Prioritise deliveries, suggest improvements to daily route plans, and report damages, excesses or shortages during delivery.
• Handle customer complaints courteously, raise non‑conformances when required, and complete trip sheets with accurate information at the end of each shift.
• Submit delivery notes to the Operations Control Centre within 24 hours of delivery.
• Comply with HSE requirements and ensure strict adherence to UAE traffic regulations, avoiding penalties and fines.
• Supervise distribution assistants, reporting any misconduct promptly.
• Perform any additional duties or projects assigned by the direct supervisor to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Minimum Matriculation (or equivalent) education.
• At least 2 years of driving experience within the UAE.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Basic communication skills and a strong safety mindset.
• Good knowledge of UAE traffic rules, road safety, and good eyesight day and night.
