Heavy Lift Sourcing Specialist – PGTR HUB

About the role

The Heavy Lift Sourcing Specialist will manage the procurement of day‑to‑day heavy‑lift transportation services for factories and sales units across the APMEA region. You will lead the full sourcing cycle, from defining scope to contract finalisation, ensuring cost‑effective and compliant logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed scope of work for heavy‑lift projects in line with factory and sales unit requirements.
• Analyse transport requirements, review existing frame agreements and develop transport budgets.
• Execute end‑to‑end RFI/RFP/RFQ processes: launch, collect bids, evaluate technical and commercial proposals, calculate risks and opportunities, award contracts and update SAP TM.
• Manage escalation processes, negotiate with logistics service providers, and handle contract changes or cancellations.
• Monitor and enforce cost alignment with negotiated tariffs, drive cost‑reduction initiatives and ensure vendor compliance.
• Maintain productive relationships with service providers and forwarders while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain, heavy‑lift logistics or project logistics.
• Proven track record in heavy‑lift sourcing, budgeting and contract negotiation.
