Heavy Machinery Operator

About the role

Operate heavy vehicles and equipment safely within the vehicle yard, supporting loading and unloading operations and ensuring proper vehicle placement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assigned heavy machinery according to instructions from the Yard Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Load, unload, move, position and park vehicles in designated yard locations.
• Conduct pre‑operation checks and maintain equipment in safe operating condition.
• Follow driving routes, speed limits, traffic regulations and HSE requirements.
• Report accidents, damages, defects or safety concerns immediately.
• Handle vehicle keys, documents and other items per company procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a heavy‑machinery operator, preferably in automotive logistics or vehicle yards.
• Valid UAE driving licence allowing operation of heavy machinery (RTA Category 8).
• Physical fitness to stand long hours, walk long distances and work outdoors in hot conditions.
• Basic English communication skills to understand safety instructions and written directions.

Required skills

• Valid UAE heavy‑machinery licence (RTA Category 8).
• Strong attention to detail for vehicle models, specifications and condition.
• Good observational skills to identify vehicle defects quickly.
