Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Noya British School (AY 2026‑27)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Higher Level Teaching Assistant for Noya British School in Abu Dhabi for the academic year 2026‑27. The role supports students with additional educational needs and works closely with teachers to deliver inclusive learning.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the school in achieving its vision and strategic targets as set out in the improvement plan.
• Support students with Additional Educational Needs (AEN) / Special Educational Needs by adapting lessons, providing equipment and fostering independent learning.
• Build and maintain respectful relationships with students, reinforcing learning and boosting confidence.
• Collaborate with teachers to prepare materials, differentiate activities, and supervise practical tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and liaise with parents regarding performance.
• Comply with health and safety regulations, school policies, and mandatory training on child protection and safeguarding.

Required profile

• Minimum two‑year diploma or degree in education or special‑needs education (or high school diploma with a special‑needs programme).
• At least two years of experience in a similar role supporting students with special educational needs.
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong interpersonal skills.
• Clean Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or police check.
