Arabic Teacher (AY27/28)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an Arabic Teacher for the academic year 27/28 to join its network of schools in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering engaging Arabic language lessons to a mixed‑ability classroom, supporting students whose first language is not Arabic, and contributing to an inclusive, play‑based learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Arabic lessons that cater to the full ability range of the class.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and specialists to design engaging, curriculum‑aligned activities.
• Assess student progress, record data using Target Tracker and provide constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
• Utilise learning technologies and hybrid/remote teaching methods to enhance student outcomes.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy and act as a positive role model.
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding student achievement and wellbeing.
• Participate in CPD, curriculum action groups and extra‑curricular activities, including weekly ECAs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic or a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom Arabic is not the first language.
• Demonstrated commitment to the holistic development and safeguarding of children.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check.
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively at all levels and adapt teaching to diverse learner needs.
