About the role
International Community Schools – Al Manhal Branch is seeking a passionate History Teacher for its High/Secondary (IGCSE) programme. You will join a dynamic Social Sciences department delivering the British Curriculum to a diverse, international student body.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging history lessons aligned with the UK IGCSE syllabus.
- Assess student progress using appropriate formative and summative methods.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development.
- Integrate educational technology tools to enhance instruction.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in History or Education (minimum requirement).
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school within the British Curriculum framework.
- Strong knowledge of the UK history syllabus and assessment methods.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to inclusive, respectful, and culturally diverse learning environments.
