Homeroom Teacher - Elementary

About the role

Nibras International School seeks a qualified Homeroom Teacher for its elementary programme, starting in August 2026. The role involves creating a safe, stimulating classroom where every pupil can thrive and make exceptional progress.

Key responsibilities

• Set high expectations and inspire pupils across diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Maintain a safe, respectful learning environment in line with school policies.
• Plan and deliver well‑structured lessons that build on pupils’ prior knowledge.
• Monitor and assess pupil attainment, providing feedback and guidance for continuous improvement.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the strengths and needs of all learners.
• Promote high standards of literacy, articulacy and correct use of Standard English.
• Apply systematic synthetic phonics for early reading and effective strategies for early mathematics.
• Reflect on lesson effectiveness and contribute to curriculum design.
