Hospitality OS&E Procurement Specialist (Contract)

About the role

The role is a hands‑on, project‑based contract for an ultra‑luxury hospitality procurement consultancy in Dubai. Reporting to the Project Lead, the specialist will turn incomplete OS&E data into a fully‑ready procurement schedule and manage the end‑to‑end sourcing process.

Key responsibilities

• Review and develop the client’s draft BOH OS&E schedule, identifying missing quantities, specifications and operational requirements.
• Prepare clarification questions, close information gaps with design and operations teams, and create detailed quantity bases and technical specifications.
• Structure and maintain the schedule by area, room, category and item while independently managing assigned OS&E categories.
• Identify, evaluate and qualify UAE and international manufacturers, issue RFQs, and prepare technical evaluations and commercial comparison sheets.
• Coordinate product samples, technical submittals, approvals and substitutions, and maintain procurement trackers, decision logs and supplier correspondence.
• Monitor production, inspections, consolidation and deliveries, providing early warnings and recommendations directly to the Project Lead.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional procurement experience, including 4–5 years of direct hotel OS&E procurement.
• Proven ability to develop and manage detailed hotel OS&E schedules from incomplete project information.
• Broad BOH OS&E knowledge across at least four categories such as housekeeping equipment, laundry storage, cleaning machinery and engineering supplies.
• Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC hospitality suppliers and experience with international sourcing and commercial negotiations.
• Advanced Excel, reporting and document‑control capabilities, and excellent written and spoken English.
• Currently based in the UAE, able to work on‑site in Dubai and undertake occasional project‑related travel.
