Hostess – All Day Dining (Manava)

About the role

We are looking for a Hostess for Manava, the All Day Dining venue at Sofitel Dubai The Palm. The role involves welcoming guests, managing reservations and ensuring smooth seating operations in a luxury 5‑star resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls within three rings, using proper etiquette and record reservations or cancellations.
• Maintain the reservation book, pre‑assign tables and handle special requests.
• Greet guests at the restaurant entrance, seat them according to the floor plan and ensure fairness for all waiters.
• Present menus, verify table settings and keep the hostess stand clean and organized.
• Anticipate busy periods, manage waiting lines and coordinate with the team to maintain service standards.
• Monitor table turnover and coordinate with service staff to ensure timely service.
• Ensure all menus and check folders are clean and stocked.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
• Minimum two years of experience in hotel or restaurant operations.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
