Hostess – Café Palmier

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to join the Café Palmier team at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and seat them at clean, prepared tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, silverware and any required items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Monitor seating availability, service flow and guest safety throughout the restaurant.
• Ensure menus are current, clean and plentiful.
• Adhere to company safety, security and uniform policies.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and assist guests as needed.
• Support team members to achieve common goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Commitment to following safety, security and uniform standards.
