Hostess – Casual Restaurant at Ajman Saray Resort

About the role

The Hospitality team at Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection resort, is looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to welcome guests in the casual restaurant. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to clean, prepared tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware and any required items.
• Monitor dining room flow, adjust seating for groups with special needs, and keep the area tidy using clean‑as‑you‑go practices.
• Check menus for cleanliness and current pricing, and report any safety or service issues to the manager.
• Maintain a professional appearance, adhere to company policies, and protect confidential information.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and support team members to achieve shared goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior work experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong communication skills and a courteous, service‑oriented attitude.
