Hostess (Italian / Russian Speaker)

About the role

The Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests at the restaurant, providing a warm welcome and guiding them to their seats. Fluency in Italian and Russian is essential to assist multilingual guests and ensure a smooth dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to clean, available tables.
• Pull out chairs, place current menus, napkins, silverware and ensure proper table settings.
• Guide guests through the dining area, offering assistance and addressing special seating needs.
• Move and arrange tables, chairs and settings to accommodate groups with special requirements.
• Check menus for cleanliness, currency and proper presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Monitor the dining room for seating availability, guest safety and overall well‑being.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies, reporting any incidents promptly.
• Uphold a professional appearance and protect confidential company information.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members, answering phones with proper etiquette.

Required profile

• Professional, clean appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
• Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods and lift items up to 10 lb.
• Strong communication skills in English, Italian and Russian.
• Team‑oriented attitude with the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Commitment to quality standards and guest satisfaction.
