Hostess – Thai Restaurant

About the role

JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is seeking a friendly and attentive Hostess for its Thai restaurant. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience in a high‑end, 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and seat them at clean, available tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware and any required items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Monitor seating availability, service flow and guest safety throughout the shift.
• Adhere to company safety, security and uniform standards, and report any incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Professional appearance and clear, courteous communication skills.
