Housekeeping Attendant – Sharjah

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant will ensure a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment across Air Arabia's premises in Sharjah. This full‑time position involves maintaining offices, accommodation facilities, and common areas while adhering to the airline’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet employees, customers, and guests courteously, reflecting a positive attitude.
• Perform cleaning tasks to meet required quality and hygiene standards within established timeframes.
• Clean assigned areas such as offices, pantries, restrooms, common areas, and accommodation facilities.
• Dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, clean ceiling vents, empty waste baskets, and replenish pantry and restroom supplies.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
• Carry out heavy cleaning duties and special assignments as required.
• Collect and dispose of litter and waste to keep surrounding areas clean.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and tools.
• Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Assist in loading or offloading trucks delivering food items and supplies.
• Conduct regular checks of offices and facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper upkeep.
• Guide and support new employees during orientation and daily tasks when needed.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pleasant personality with a consistently positive and professional attitude.
• Well‑groomed, presentable, and organized with attention to personal and workplace standards.
• Dynamic, proactive, and physically fit for frequent movement and active engagement.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and machines.
• Fair proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work shift patterns (24/7) and long working hours.
