About the role
The Housekeeping Coordinator at NH Collection Ibn Battuta Hotel plays a vital operational role, acting as the communication hub between the front office, maintenance, and housekeeping teams. You will ensure rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness standards while supporting seamless guest experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the Property Management System (PMS) for check‑outs, early arrivals, and stay‑overs, updating room status promptly.
- Coordinate daily room cleaning schedules and special deep‑cleaning projects, dispatching work orders to floor supervisors and attendants.
- Manage inventory of guest amenities, linens, cleaning supplies, and uniforms, conducting regular counts and liaising with purchasing to prevent shortages.
- Receive and log guest requests for extra pillows, cribs, towels, or maintenance issues, ensuring timely fulfillment by field staff.
- Handle housekeeping paperwork including timesheets, attendance logs, lost‑and‑found tracking, and key control logs.
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper with scheduling and payroll data entry.
