About the role
The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures cleanliness and orderliness across guestrooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces, leading a team to maintain high standards and enhance guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and assign daily tasks to Housekeeping Attendants, providing keys and supplies.
- Handle guest requests and complaints, ensuring effective resolution.
- Inspect guest rooms regularly to uphold quality standards.
- Communicate room status with Front Office for efficient operations.
- Report damaged items to Engineering and manage lost‑and‑found procedures.
- Order supplies, manage inventory, and maintain stock levels.
- Evaluate Attendant performance, provide feedback, and report issues to senior housekeeping management.
- Train staff on SOPs and uphold environmental, health, and safety standards.
Required profile
- Experience supervising housekeeping teams in a hotel environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle guest interactions professionally.
- Knowledge of inventory and supply management.
