Housekeeping Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi. In this role you will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across our luxury property while supporting a collaborative and growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, turn‑down service and public area upkeep.
• Plan and allocate staff assignments for day, evening and night shifts, ensuring proper coverage and key control.
• Coordinate closely with the Front Office to manage late arrivals, early departures, VIP requests and special guest requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas, completing checklists and reporting any discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, oversee pantry stock and requisition processes.
• Provide performance feedback to the Housekeeping Manager and support staff development.
• Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, hygiene policies and uniform standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory housekeeping role within a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
