Housekeeping Supervisor - TP

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead a team of housekeepers to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment across the hospital. The role ensures compliance with infection‑control, JCI standards and sustainable housekeeping practices while supporting efficient use of resources.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise daily housekeeping activities in wards, clinics and public areas.
• Monitor and enforce JCI and infection‑control codes to guarantee a safe environment.
• Manage inventories of linens, supplies, chemicals and equipment, placing orders as needed.
• Conduct periodic and special cleaning assignments and ensure proper documentation.
• Coach, mentor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and recognition.
• Promote and monitor environmentally sustainable practices, including waste segregation and responsible use of water, energy and chemicals.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Facilities Management or a related field.
• Minimum six years of progressive housekeeping experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of JCI standards and infection‑control practices.
• Understanding of waste‑management codes and sustainable housekeeping methods.
• Experience with inventory management and chemical safety procedures.
