About the role

The Houseman supports the housekeeping and guest service teams at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. This onsite position ensures that pantry, store and service areas remain clean, organized and fully stocked, contributing to a seamless guest experience in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to all housekeeping and Guest Service calls (FCS requests).
• Maintain cleanliness of pantries, stores, service areas and HK Tuk Tuk vehicles throughout the shift.
• Inspect assigned blocks for maintenance issues, report them to the Housekeeping office, and ensure emergency exits are clear and functional.
• Assist room attendants by providing supplies, handling extra beds/cribs, and supporting their tasks as needed.
• Collect and dispose of recycling and garbage daily, following proper waste‑management procedures.
• Monitor and report shortages of linen, guest supplies, and cleaning materials.
• Complete end‑of‑shift reports, maintain a master key and phone, and communicate any issues to the housekeeping office.

Required profile

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to health, safety and cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with supervisors.
• Reliability in handling key responsibilities such as master key custody and shift reporting.
