Housing Technician for Employee Accommodation

About the role

Rixos Hotels is seeking a reliable Housing Technician to maintain technical systems and equipment within staff accommodation in Dubai. The role ensures a safe, comfortable living environment for employees by performing routine maintenance and emergency repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general fixtures.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, and equipment to identify issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance tasks and equipment servicing.
• Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials, reporting shortages.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
• Collaborate with the Supervisor and other departments to coordinate activities.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus.
• Previous experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in residential or hospitality settings.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize work.
• Good communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and perform manual tasks.
