Housing Technician

About the role

Rixos Al Mairid is looking for a reliable Housing Technician to maintain staff accommodation facilities. The role involves ensuring all technical systems operate safely and efficiently, supporting a comfortable living environment for employees.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general fixtures.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, and equipment, and respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate logs of tasks, manage inventory of tools and spare parts, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
• Collaborate with the Supervisor and other departments, and provide technical assistance during staff moves and facility upgrades.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus.
• Previous experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in residential or hospitality settings.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, good communication skills, and a service‑oriented mindset.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and perform manual tasks.
