About the role
The HR Associate will be the first point of contact for new employees, guiding them through onboarding and supporting day‑to‑day employee relations. The role also assists with HR administrative tasks, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives across the firm.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes, including new‑hire orientations and preparation of onboarding materials.
- Serve as a primary contact for new joiners, answering queries and ensuring IT equipment and system access are ready.
- Develop and process employment contracts, policies, and procedures in line with UAE federal and local regulations.
- Provide HR advice to employees and managers on policies, procedures, and employee‑relations matters.
- Support performance management cycles, probation confirmations, appraisals, and training/CPD tracking.
- Organise and facilitate employee engagement events such as annual dinners and team‑building activities.
- Assist in continuous improvement of onboarding programs and HR processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
- 1‑12 months of HR administrative or operational experience, preferably in a multicultural environment.
- Strong communication, organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Interest or working knowledge of UAE employment law.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
