HR Business Partner – Business Unit Leadership

About the role

JD.com is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to act as a strategic liaison for one of its business units. You will work closely with leadership and teams to enhance effectiveness, culture, and performance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor business unit health and recommend improvements to teams, structure, and processes.
• Collaborate with leaders to strengthen work relationships, boost morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Review and analyze people‑related data, identify trends, and propose solutions to improve performance and employee experience.
• Interpret and present analytics in a clear, business‑focused manner.
• Provide HR policy guidance and ensure seamless execution of People Practice programs.
• Administer organization‑wide initiatives such as performance reviews, rewards, and recognition.
• Contribute to the design and execution of the HR Strategic Business Plan.
• Develop annual engagement programs that extend to employees' families and alumni.
• Manage HR Operations activities, including MIS reporting and payroll inputs.
• Stay current with industry best practices and drive innovative HR programs.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of business unit dynamics and HR impact.
• Ability to analyze data, spot trends, and recommend actionable solutions.
• Experience advising leadership on HR policies and programs.
• Proven track record of managing HR operations and large‑scale engagement initiatives.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of leading HR practices and thought leadership.
