HR Business Partner – Retail (UAE)

About the role

Reporting to the Middle East HR Director, the HR Business Partner – UAE will shape a high‑performance, engaging employee experience across Puig’s retail network. This generalist HR position combines operational excellence with strategic impact, acting as a trusted advisor to retail leaders and maintaining a visible presence in stores.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with retail leaders to align people priorities with business strategy.
• Advise on organisational design, team structure, performance, engagement and change management.
• Drive the full retail performance‑management cycle, enabling feedback conversations and development planning.
• Lead annual talent reviews, build succession pipelines and identify high‑potential talent.
• Attract, develop and retain top retail talent through proactive workforce planning and hiring strategies.
• Support recruitment at all levels, including career fairs and assessment centres, ensuring a high‑quality candidate experience.
• Maintain a strong field presence through regular store visits to understand operational realities.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit, partnering with HR Operations for seamless execution.
• Manage employee‑relations matters, coach managers on performance, absence and disciplinary processes while ensuring compliance and fairness.
• Champion Puig’s culture and values, co‑design engagement initiatives and drive well‑being, diversity, equity and inclusion programs.
• Implement recognition programmes that celebrate performance and reinforce a culture of appreciation.

Required profile

• Passion for retail and belief in close field proximity.
• Experience as a generalist HR professional, preferably within a retail or fashion environment.
• Strong advisory and communication skills to influence leaders and support teams.
• Ability to translate business realities into impactful people solutions.
• Proactive, results‑oriented mindset with a focus on employee engagement and development.
