HR Business Partner – Retail (UAE)

About the role

The HR Business Partner will serve as the strategic HR lead for retail stores, partnering with store management to align people initiatives with business objectives. You will drive employee engagement, talent development and performance management while ensuring compliance with local labour laws and Al‑Futtaim Group policies.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Al‑Futtaim Retail People strategy to the store level and design optimal organisational structures.
• Partner with leadership to identify talent needs, develop recruitment strategies and manage manpower budgeting.
• Oversee employee relations, handle grievances, and ensure consistent application of HR policies.
• Guide performance appraisal processes and support performance improvement plans.
• Promote a values‑driven culture, lead change initiatives and champion diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Develop succession planning, mentor managers and create continuous learning opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role within a retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour legislation and ability to apply group HR policies.
• Demonstrated capability to influence senior leaders and drive people‑focused change.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
