HR Business Partner Specialist

About the role

The Specialist – Human Resource Business Partner provides HR consulting and operational support to corporate leaders, ensuring alignment between business objectives and HR strategy. The role manages employee‑life‑cycle processes, employee relations, and the implementation of HR programs while maintaining compliance with GMG policies and UAE labour legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders on employee relations, organisational changes and HR‑related matters.
• Oversee employee lifecycle activities – onboarding, role changes, promotions, exits – in line with GMG policies and UAE labour law.
• Administer HR data and approvals using SAP SuccessFactors and GMG’s OneFlow system.
• Handle employee‑relations issues, grievance resolution and disciplinary actions, ensuring legal compliance.
• Support performance‑management cycles, talent‑development initiatives and succession planning.
• Lead rollout of HR programmes (performance, promotions, talent development) and drive process improvements.
• Maintain accurate job descriptions in collaboration with the Rewards team.
• Assist change‑management projects related to restructuring, workforce planning and role transitions.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of HR experience, preferably in a business‑partnering or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage employee‑relations cases and ensure compliance.
• Experience supporting talent‑management processes such as performance reviews and succession planning.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills for consulting with senior leaders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP SuccessFactors.
• Experience using GMG’s OneFlow HR system.
• In‑depth understanding of UAE labour legislation.
