HR Director - Dubai

About the role

A well-established Dubai-based company with over 20 years of industry experience is looking for an HR Director. The role leads HR strategy and organizes end-to-end HR operations across multiple business entities, in line with UAE labour law and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute group-wide HR strategies, workforce planning, organizational restructuring, succession planning and talent development aligned with business objectives.
• Direct recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management and HR policies, ensuring compliance with UAE labour laws.
• Build recruitment strategies, performance appraisal systems, employee engagement and leadership development programmes, and retention strategies.
• Advise senior management on manpower planning, HR budgets, workforce productivity, organizational effectiveness and employee-related risks, and implement HR systems, standardized policies, KPIs and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field, with 10+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in leadership.
• MBA or CIPD/SHRM certification is an advantage.
• Proven experience managing the full HR function, including recruitment, workforce planning, employee relations, compensation and benefits and performance management.
• Experience developing policies and improving employee retention and productivity.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, MOHRE regulations, payroll/WPS and HR compliance.
• Hands-on experience with HR systems, analytics, manpower budgeting and advising senior management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
