HR Generalist – Arabic Speaker (Read & Write)

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced HR Generalist who is fluent in Arabic (both reading and writing) to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role supports all HR operations while ensuring compliance with local legislation and KBR’s internal policies, and works closely with HSE teams to meet safety objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain efficient HR processes, ensuring compliance with UAE labour law and regional regulations.
• Administer compensation and benefits plans and support talent acquisition when needed.
• Prepare employment contracts, manage onboarding and off‑boarding, and handle employee queries.
• Coordinate with payroll, global mobility, and HSE teams on salaries, medicals, and incident investigations.
• Manage employee records in SAP and Workday, including leave administration.
• Build strong relationships with local HR, HSE regulators and government agencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of HR experience, preferably in the oil & gas sector in the Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour law and other Middle Eastern regulations.
• Ability to make quick, sound decisions and work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
